Walmer Yard interiors unveiled: Mystery, Sensuality and Intimacy with Clay Plasters

Clayworks has unveiled the interior wall finishes of the multi award winning and highly acclaimed Walmer Yard in a series of images showcasing the potential for clay plasters for creating calm, contemporary spaces.

An oasis of calm in the middle of London, the interior has been described as the 'birth of cool' and a spectacular architectural achievement using 'carefully crafted materials, but not the material of conventional luxury’ (Edwin Heathcote, Financial Times).

Designed by Peter Salter and built by the Shaw Group Walmer Yard, is the 2017 RIBA London award winner.
