Wall of Shame – Presentation Fails!
We have so many property programmes on the telly these days, telling us how to best present our properties for sale – from Phil Spencer and Kirsty Allsop, to Ann Maurice and Andrew Winter. Daytime tv is packed with useful tips, how-tos and home makeover shows.
So why oh why then, do I see so many photographs where the homeowner has allowed their property to be photographed looking far from its best?!
Here are some real crackers – get ready to be shocked!
Not the best way to present your property…. not sure I’d even want to set foot inside here. Bet the carpet’s sticky…. urgghhhh!
Mess, clutter, mess. How on earth does the agent stand a chance of selling it??
Living room? Or laundry room?? And what’s with all the alcohol on top of the dresser??
Not sure what to say about this room…. is someone squatting, do you think??
No no no! Don’t ask the agent to photograph your house when it’s full of Christmas decorations. What are you going to do when it hasn’t sold by Easter??
Wow. This was one brave agent to take this on!! Makes me itch for my paint roller!
Hope you enjoyed today’s Wall of Shame. If you find any of your own, please send them to me at [email protected] and you might see them on a future post!
