Preparations for UKIHCA’s ‘Wall to Wall Health Conversations’ co-located event at the Integrated & Personalised Medicine Congress 2024 on Friday 7 June are in full swing and the excitement is growing. ?
TEAM UKIHCA can’t wait to get down to London for this globally significant and influential conference and we’re like a coiled spring ahead of our whole day of health coaching discussion, designed to inform, motivate and inspire our colleagues from all parts of the health space to TAKE ACTION ON HEALTH COACHING!

We’re buzzing to meet and hear colleagues from all disciplines – primary care doctors, hospital consultants, nurses, pharmacists, NHS health and wellbeing coaches, nutritionists, integrative and lifestyle medicine practitioners - sharing?their passion for and experience of the powerful modality of health coaching, training health coaches and working with health coaches.
How will the day work?
UKIHCA are delighted and honoured to welcome a host of renowned guests to the event, representing all aspects of the health space and ready to share all their knowledge and experience to advance the health coaching movement. UKIHCA Advisor Antonella Santini will be our Room Host for the day, supported by UKIHCA’s Faye Andrews in The Geilgud room from 10am on Friday 7 June. ? Health coaching is a non-clinical role and clarity on scope of practice is at the heart of every safe and successful health coaching relationship. But what IS a 'health coaching' scope of practice? How does it differ from the scope of practice of the clinical expert? And if you have both... how can these be reconciled in BEST practice? ?
The King’s Fund is calling for a "radical refocusing of a health and care system to put primary and community services at its core". Where does health coaching fit in and what role can health coaches play within the multi-disciplinary team that delivers this agenda.? ?
How does health coaching support cancer care??- 12.00pm ?
A cancer diagnosis is a diagnosis like no other. As we develop holistic approaches to addressing a patient/client's needs, the focus on the externals - getting the patient/client through the treatment and beyond - needs to integrate the external with the internal - the person IN that process. ?

A registered nutritional therapist and a professionally credentialed health coach both make a huge impact on people's health. How can - and do - these two professionals work collaboratively to support a client, each bringing specific knowledge and skill? How might these professionals explore the other's scope of practice to attain a dual scope. ?
