Walking the path of building something from scratch is a journey filled with uncertainty, self-doubt, and struggles. It's a path where at times you feel like you are moving forward, but there are moments when you question if you have any clue what you are doing. It's a journey that requires clinging to hope, hoping that the right people will come along to support you, only to discover that sometimes the wrong people are placed on your path to teach you valuable lessons about growth.
Even more so, as somebody with a family, the weight of your responsibilities can amplify the doubts and insecurities. You pour your heart and soul into your work, giving everything you have, yet it feels like nothing is working, and the financial struggles seem never-ending. In those moments, you find yourself in solace, hearing the laughter of your children playing, and you wonder how to keep walking this path when the next paycheck is uncertain. Emotionally, you feel vulnerable and reminiscent of a little child yourself, questioning your worth and feeling like you're not living up to much, especially when your partner appears to be holding everything together.
On the outside, people see the external success. They offer congratulations and admiration, assuming that you must have it all together. However, inside, your cup is running close to empty. People enter your life, seemingly interested in you, but you soon realize that their interest stems solely from what you have achieved and how they can benefit from it. Once they have gained what they desired, they quickly walk away, leaving you feeling used and unimportant.
Companies approach you, claiming to want to help and make a difference, but when you suggest they invest their time and resources into your cause, you are met with silence. They seem eager until it comes time to back their words with actions. Invitations to events come your way, filled with pleasantries and flattery, but you soon realize you are merely being used to access your network. Naivety prevails and you witness your contacts showered with gifts, only for you to being forget about.
These experiences are all part of your story, a story of resilience, perseverance, and growth. They have shaped you into the person you are today. They certainly were of mine.
For me and hopefully you too, through these challenges, you have gained a discerning eye, granted to you by a higher power, allowing you to reach your potential and garner that success in what you are building because you started seeing things from a whole new perspective and changing the narrative in your head.
These experiences have fueled your hunger, igniting a fire within you to keep walking this path and fulfill the vision you set out to achieve.
To be where I am today and reached so much of what I set out to do, I am truly grateful for, yet my journey has not been easy, by no means. But in every obstacle and disappointment that came my way, it only made me stronger. It taught me to rely on my own abilities, to find solace in the love and support of my family, and to trust in a power greater than myself.
I am still here, having stood tall amidst the struggles and setbacks, because I refused to let adversity define me. My unwavering determination and resilience became the pillars upon which I built and achieved my goals.

My advice I would give from my own personal experiences and the wisdom it has given me....
In the midst of giving so much of yourself, I know, it can feel disheartening when it seems like people only take without reciprocating. It's a difficult balance to maintain, to continue giving without becoming cynical or allowing yourself to drown in self-pity. So, what can you do in such circumstances?
You have two choices: you can either succumb to the negativity and let it consume you, or you can gather your strength and rise above it. It is crucial to remember that these experiences are not meant to break you down but rather to mould you into the person you need to become. They are lessons from a higher power, guiding you along your path and preparing you to fulfill your purpose.
By seeing these challenges as lessons from God, you shift your perspective. Instead of viewing them as obstacles or setbacks, you begin to recognize them as opportunities for growth and self-improvement. Each person who takes without giving teaches you about boundaries, about discerning intentions, and about the importance of surrounding yourself with genuine individuals.
Through these experiences, you develop resilience, strength, and wisdom. You learn to protect your energy and invest it in those who reciprocate your kindness and support. You become more discerning, able to differentiate between those who are truly there for you and those who are merely seeking personal gain.
Rather than allowing these experiences to discourage you, let them motivate you to continue on your chosen path with even greater determination. Understand that these challenges are necessary stepping stones toward your ultimate destination. Embrace them as opportunities to refine your character, to develop your skills, and to gain the necessary insight to fulfill your purpose.
When you face adversity, remind yourself that you are not alone. Have faith that a higher power is guiding your steps, presenting you with the lessons and experiences you need to grow. Trust that the journey you are on is ultimately leading you to the fulfillment of your aspirations and though the wrong people may be placed on your path for lessons, incredible people equally will to.
Learn to recognise those people.
Embrace the lessons presented to you, learn from them, and let them shape you into the person you are meant to be.
In the end, by rising above the disappointments and challenges, you will become stronger, wiser, and more prepared to fulfill your purpose. Trust in the process, have faith in yourself, and hold onto the belief that every experience, no matter how difficult, is leading you toward a brighter future.
In the end, the hardships you face today will serve as the foundation for the success you will achieve tomorrow.
