Dear colleagues, acquaintances and friends,
I've signed up for Walk MS—a charity walk that is changing the lives of people with MS. The week of March 7-11 2016 has been designated MS Awareness week. This disease has now affected our family as my son was diagnosed with MS in October 2014, and it has also affected so many other families. I am so encouraged by the progress of the research in the last decade closing in on a cure for this disease that I have decided to help raise the money necessary for continued research to help people like my son.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve. Today, there are treatments where there weren't any before, and the dream of ending MS is becoming a reality.
The MS walk is soon approaching! April 9th... I'm excited to show my support for funding research for better medications and cure for MS. I walk for everyone with MS, and mainly, for my son Patrick. Please consider donating and praying for my son and all who have this disease. No amount is too small and if you can't donate, I understand we are all asked for much. But thank you in advance for your consideration.
Thank you!
