During this quarantine, I became nostalgic. For a while, I was lost in my childhood. Who else doesn't love to be remembered for the days of youth? It is human nature to be nostalgic when embedded with affectionate feelings, especially for a joyful time. Childhood memories are the most beautiful and unforgettable moments in our life! I wish to rewind those days with the rewind button.

NOSTALGIA; A FAIRY TALE
Memories are like fairy tales. It is recorded in our mind that all experiences and the lessons we have learned from them. We can add memories when we have quiet moments or introspection and reflection. Memory can be positive and negative, and the forms, dreams, and fantasies of allegories are embedded in our consciousness. Like the moving image, they come and go, and we all reach a point when we know that to keep our peace and balance, we must express some memories. It is quite a pleasant walk down memory lane, but make sure this will not be something other than another stroll down memory lane.
?Unpleasant memories often last long and refuse to leave, perhaps because of nature's way of protecting us. Unpleasant memories can be a warning sign for us not to repeat past mistakes. Memories remind us that only some are trustworthy. It goes downhill repeatedly and reminds us that there are things we can do to avoid further injury, and we must take steps.
“Some details in life may look insignificant but appear vital leitmotifs in a person's life."
?
?While I was writing this article, a question popped into my mind. Did our ancestors also hold memories? Of course, they did so, and the memories come from our ancestors. We are also given certain qualities as we learn from them well. However, many hidden memories are buried in our consciousness, including hidden content that surfaces as unhealthy and disturbing thoughts. They are annoying because if we allow them to rule us, we will destroy ourselves. Good and evil are stored in our brains. When we are in touch with the deepest part of ourselves, this memory storehouse of humanity plays in us. All wisdom of humankind can be accessed, and a continuation with our ancestors can be established; What did they think and do?
MEMORIES ARE LIKE A CAMERA; THEY CAPTURE THE GOOD MEMORIES, DEVELOP FROM NEGATIVE ONES, AND ERASE THE BAD MEMORIES FROM THE MIND IF IT BOTHERS YOU III
Each of us, however, does not have to reinvent the wheel. We need to use all the wisdom and goodness of our ancestors. In this way, we help our memories process, remembering life and taking away what is not good.

Walking down memory lane, we forget many things and can keep in touch with our past. By cherishing these memories and releasing them, we can move forward with hope and confidence in the future. We will not repeat the mistakes of the past. If possible, avoid the people and situations that will bring us sorrow.
?We hold on to memories as they complete us and add missing dimensions to each of us as we learn to leave them. Memories are not our choice when he chooses to restore the past. They are an integral part of us. When memories hold the pain associated with them, it usually is because they revolve around naughty experiences from the past. However, the more we can release them, the closer we will come to our true selves.
?LONGING FOR SWEET MEMORIES.
"It always involves a wistful memory of times that now seem better or simpler. A nostalgic feeling can involve home and family but also a longing for long-gone moments."
Nostalgia is a thirsty sweet yearning for the past. It is precious because it allows us to recapture the good times for the moment; Sometimes, it's bitter because we know those times can never come back. The longing for our past is personal nostalgia, and historical nostalgia prefers a distant era. Although nostalgia is ubiquitous, studies have shown that nostalgic longing for the past occurs especially during changes, such as aging or retiring. Dispersion or alienation due to military conflict, moving to a new country, or technological advancement can also arouse our nostalgia.
?A FINE LINE OF NOSTALGIA-----
Eventually, nostalgia is a valuable method; while we emphasize our life adventures - we preserve our happy memories. It is a way of exploiting the past and creating hope for the future- to the endurance of changing internally.?
"Nostalgia is like a grammar lesson; you find the present tense but the past PERFECT." ~ Owens Lee Pomeroy?

4 年A very interesting article Nusrat, I think about my past and childhood occasionally, but I have no desire to go back in time and do things over or relive these experiences. It is very important to remember our past experience and the things we have been exposed to because they have come together to impact who we have become and how we view things. Thank you ?? for sharing these thoughts and your insight.
