Walk Tall Girl Productions will host Black Theater Online Night at the November 1st performance of the world premiere of SCHOOL GIRLS; OR, THE AFRICAN MEAN GIRLS PLAY by Jocelyn Bioh. Curtain is at 7pm at MCC Theater at The Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street, NYC. A cash bar and meet and greet with the playwright will immediately follow the performance at The Quarter, 522 Hudson Street. Tickets are $32. But the mid-year arrival of Ericka, a new student with undeniable talent and beauty, captures the attention of the pageant recruiter--and Paulina’s hive-minded friends. Directed by Tony Award? winner Rebecca Taichman, Jocelyn Bioh's buoyant and biting comedy explores the universal similarities (and glaring differences) facing teenage girls across the globe. How far would you go to be queen bee?

SCHOOL GIRLS; OR, THE AFRICAN MEAN GIRLS PLAY is directed by Tony Award winner Rebecca Taichman and features performances by Nabiyah Be, MaameYaa Boafo, Paige Gilbert, Zainab Jah, Nike Kadri, Abena Mensah-Bonsu, Mirirai Sithole and Myra Lucretia Taylor.
