You look confident. You walk the talk. You are happy.
But the world isn’t happy in your happiness. They are appalled by your unrestrained spirit. They scrutinise your unflagging persistence.
You are sullen and cold. You prefer staying in your own world. You are not particularly happy, but trying to.
But the world isn’t at peace. They intensely doubt you. They deliberately shame you for your despair. They derive malicious pleasure from your troubles.
The world will always question your instincts, no matter what. The world will constantly try to throttle you and your aspirations and instill fear and hesitation. The world will keep breaking you in every possibility.
But here’s a secret.
They have their own agonising insecurities. They are afraid to address that. They will never try to heal from that. They are going to reflect their deep-seated insecurities on you. They feel they are in power, but honestly, you are in power. You have the power to overlook them, not pity them and do your thing proudly. And guess what, that raw, stupendous power of yours scares them. They are becoming aware that they can no longer hurt you.
So, stride with certainty and watch them clear out the path.

3 年The pandemic opened my eyes to this one fact, we live our lives as we want, we have only this much time. There should be no place for judgement, questions, answers or any such relationship between your way of life or others n vice versa. That is so much of time wasted which would have been used to do something or better yourself in something you wish to achieve. People don't have power over each other, but self.

3 年The lines are so true! It is so important to not care what others think or talk about us. We all know this fact, but we still let it affect us.
