Yes ! Why walk in the plant while it is heavily raining (or snowing), or if you are in the Middle East - hot weather of 125 F to get those blind mechanical switches to the instrument lab and change their set points applying rising/falling pressures and running a few cycles to ensure it is done? Just do it in the comfort of an air-conditioned control room if you are using Model 1XTXSW, a switch (for pressure, DP, or temperature) with HART 7 communication protocol!
