WALK FOR GRACIE 2018

A couple of years ago, on a beautiful day the weekend before my wedding, I completed a 20 kms sponsored walk in the South Downs starting and finishing at Goodwood to raise fund for the development needs of a little girl called Gracie who, with her family, attends my local church.

She’s benefited enormously from the treatment she has received as a result, and there is real value in continuing with it, so I’m walking again next Saturday 12th May on a similar route. It’s 25 kms this time and I, and more importantl, she and her family, would be grateful if you would sponsor the creaking joints as they walk the route.

My wife, Gill, is encouraging me from the grandstand, so that we can go straight off afterwards up to Surrey for a 60th birthday party that evening. I’m sure there’s no truth in the rumour that she’s hoping that I will be sufficiently exhausted to prevent me getting up on the dance floor!
