This weekend's adventure begins with me standing at the World Trade Center subway platform, waiting for the 1-train to arrive at the station.
On this beautiful day in the Big ?? Apple, I am on my way to Lincoln Center Plaza to reconnect with a couple of friends I haven't seen face-to-face since the start of this crazy pandemic.
As I expected, the 1-train arrived on schedule, and I hopped on it for a short ride up to the 66th Street and Lincoln Center subway station to meet my friends at a small family-owned café.?Let's go!
Quick Question? ??
As you review the photo below, imagining the train rolling into the stations, does it suddenly feel like a blast of hot air just hit up against your body?
I bet it did. Lol!
Okay... now back to my story. ??
We plan on reuniting while enjoying a hot breakfast & coffee and then zipping over to nearby Central Park for a stroll ???? around my favorite city park!
As you probably guessed, I arrived at Lincoln Center Plaza an hour early to have some time to reflect on the week and, of course, journal ??? my thoughts, all while marveling at this legendary place!
As soon as I arrived at Lincoln Center Plaza, I felt like recording a video and decided to do so. Let's do it! ??
So without hesitation, I opened my video app on my iPhone, tapped the record button, and recorded a brief video for my journal, which you can watch by clicking on the image below.
After recording another one of my impromptu videos, I reached into my navy blue and white New York Yankees backpack to get my Apple AirPods Pro.
Next, I gently placed my AirPods into my ears, beginning with my left ear, then my right, followed by taking a deep breath, which helped me relax.
Since I was standing near the famed Julliard, the world leader in performing arts education, I figured the music ?? I listened to should be befitting for this moment, so I started listening to a collaborative piano ?? playlist!

With the soothing sounds of the Julliard Orchestra music now playing in my ears, I slowly began to walk ???? around Lincoln Center Plaza, deliberately admiring its beauty while simultaneously allowing my thoughts to flow as freely as the birds flying in the sky!?
Before I knew it, I found myself lost in thought; yet, I still managed to capture what I was thinking about at this moment into my favorite iPhone journal app.
And, because it's Saturday morning, I decided to share portions of my newest journal entry with you, keeping up with what has become part of our Saturday routine. ??
I walked ???? around this iconic place for about thirty minutes straight, and of course, I made a few stops along the way to take some of my signature pics!???
Well, friends, that just about does it for my latest article. I am now headed to the coffee shop to reunite with some of my dear friends.
Lastly, I hope you learned something new from this article and enjoyed our latest stroll ????together as much as I did. As always, the pleasure was all mine.
Have a fun weekend and fabulous rest of your summer! ??
