Wales’ net-zero ambition gathers pace with Ministerial approval of Manmoel Wind

We’re delighted to announce the approval of Manmoel Wind by Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government Ministers.

Situated in Blaenau Gwent, five state-of-the-art turbines will provide enough clean, green energy to power around 20,000 homes. The scheme will also create the potential for a local energy network of large-scale energy users in Ebbw Vale, providing much-needed investment to a region identified by Welsh Government as a National Growth Area.

We look forward to continuing and enhancing our support for a number of clubs and organisations in the local community, as well as continuing to welcome local schoolchildren to our Parc Stormy site to learn how we’re working to power a greener future.

This is an important project for us and as a locally owned, Welsh-based company we are incredibly proud to be playing our part in helping Blaenau Gwent deliver a more sustainable future” - Martyn Popham, Director CENIN

Further information about the project can be found at manmoelwind.co.uk.
