Here is what I believe we need to do to help Africa Leap Frog Social & Economic Development.
- Appoint Qualified, Experienced administrators to run Government/State Institutions and Develop Socio-Economic Policies around their sectors of expertise. If you have never worked or operated in that sector, you have no business developing any laws and or legislation.
- Redirect 75% of Internal Investment Spending toward the Countries' strongest economic sectors (Most competitive/advantageous) and their entire value chains, end to end: Mining, Farming, Financial Services etc.
- Only people with Entrepreneurial experience outside of Investing are given money to invest in businesses both at a Private & State Level, Venture Capital & Private Equity.
- Develop & Implement, New Education System Models designed around Stem Subjects. Stem Subjects to be made Mandatory, where the subjects are taught at highest levels/Quality, with a 65% minimum pass rate.
- Reintroduce Vocational Schooling.
- Build Data and Server Centre Grids where Local Private Capital Build Data & Server Centre Infrastructure that then houses local user data and hosting. Any international business looking to secure local customers has to pay for and use any one of the Data & Hosting Centres within this grid.
- Nationalised Telecommunications systems i.e. No Foreign Companies can own and or run Telecommunications companies within the Country. Owners must live & operate in the country.
- Nationalized Media Companies, No Foreign Companies can own and or run Local Media Companies. Owners must live & operate in the country.
- All Schools to offer Art and Sports. All Children's participation in both these subject areas to be mandatory from the 2nd Grade.
- Mandatory Vacation work for 16 year olds and upward in Sectors of their choosing during school holidays. This includes Social and Vocational work.
- Abandon Cities as nodes of community settlement in favours of more social communities where each family has their own yard large enough to plant and Grow Fruits & Vegetables. People may work in a city but may not live in it.
- Nationalize Key Infrastructure Development & Management, Resources and Utilities including public transport, all health and all education. All mined and Manufactured goods to be beneficiated and or processed locally.
- Professional Conscription - Once you have 5 years worth of experience and expertise in a Professional field, you serve in a State/Parastatal for at least 2 years.
- Prioritize & make mandatory, Indigenous language education at all education levels, nation wide.
- Non-Negotiable localization of key industries and Manufacturing of Goods and Services such as Food & Medicine.
- Remove Tendering Systems at all State and or Parastatal Institutions.
- No Professional/Career Politicians.
- National Defense Systems to be manufactured, run and owned by the state.
