WAITING FOR THE TRIONFO The incredible event of August 5, 1984. by Sister Emmanuel

Church celebrates Mary's Nativity on September 8, it's a liturgical date. But in 1984, the Madonna herself confided to Vicka, Marija and Jelena Vasilj that the exact date of her birth is August 5, and that she would have been 2000 years old on that day. What an amazing birthday! He also said: ′′ On that day, the priests who confess will experience great joys ". Three days before the birthday, the villagers would prepare for the event with fasting and the prayer continues.

During the evening vigil of August 4th, young Jelena Vasilj (see PS2), animated her prayer group's usual prayer night, but in the middle of the recitation of Our Father, she abruptly interrupted due to a strange phenomenon at all throat, she felt in fact, as if someone wanted to stop her from continuing. At that moment he had the vision of Satan rolling on the ground in anger. Full of wrath, he asked Jelena to tell the Virgin Mary not to bless the world the next day. Jelena, accustomed to spiritual combat with the enemy and careful not to enter into dialogue with him, simply ignored the question. Satan ended up retiring and Jelena resumed her prayer in peace.

So he saw the Virgin Mary as radiant as ever, and smilingly said to her: ′′ Satan knows why he asks me this! He knows that tomorrow (August 5th), the Most High has allowed me to bless the world with my solemn blessing, and he knows that on that day he will be bound and will not be able to act!".

The day has come! According to some witnesses I encountered, that day in the village there were about 70 priests and a few thousand people among inhabitants and pilgrims. Without saying a word, as moved by an irresistible inner strength, they all lined up to confess. Priests, at the time, were sitting in chairs outside in the great grass around the church and people confessed on their knees. The priests didn't stop confessing, and there were numerous conversions. The extraordinary thing was not only that everyone lined up to confess, but especially that.... everyone was crying! What I've ever seen! They cried their sins, sure, but what ripped their tears away was realizing Jesu s' infinite love for them. Tears of love and true contrition! Tears of joy to knowing so loved and deeply forgiven. Even the priests cried, to the point that one of them later said to me: ′′ Our stoles were soaked in tears, and our tears were mixed with those of penitents. Grace was tangible!".

An Italian friend who was present that day said to me ′′ You can't imagine the peace that from heaven descended upon us! You could touch her! We'd never had such an experience, it was like heaven on earth!". Some tourists, on holiday on the Adriatic coast, felt inside to go to Medjugorje, and once there, the first thing they did was to expand the file waiting in front of priests. Among them, many had abandoned the sacraments for a long time. We can imagine Heavenly Father's joy in being able to give to his Daughter, Holy Mary, this beautiful mass of souls as a birthday present! Mary comes to bring us closer to the Heart of God and reconcile with Him. That day, he saw thousands of his children running towards Him, how many conversions...

That evening, during the 18.40 pm appearance, the Madonna told the seers these upsetting words: ′′ Dear children, I have never cried so much in my life as I cry for joy tonight. Thank you! Thank you! Keep praying and fasting!" Then he added: ′′ Don't forget, dear children, that tomorrow Satan will be free from his chains again!".

This episode, unique in the history of Medjugorje, is meaningful and prophetic. It's interesting to realize what happens when the enemy is unable to act.... Then all of God's mercy can flow to rivers on His beloved children, without the obstacles the enemy puts in our hearts and spirits. God desires love and peace, but Satan wants hate and war, as Holy Mary tells us. He detests mercy and inoculates its poison in a thousand ways to prevent us from throwing ourselves into the arms of God where we enjoy true peace!

The fact that Satan was chained for 24 hours without being able to act is a great sign for the times we live. If heaven allows this, isn't it to encourage us? In fact, there will come a day when our enemy, so active today, will be won, and won by a Woman, the Virgin Mary, by her and also by her descent (Revelation 12). We can imagine this as a dress rehearsal Before the coming of the ′′ New Time ′′ that Heaven prepares for us, ′′ peaceful time that my heart eagerly awaits ′′ says the Virgin Mary.

- If Vicka says that ′′ the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart is very close ",

- If Marija says ′′ that it has already started ′′ (you can see the forerunner signs in the world),

- If Ivan said that ′′ when Medjugorje's secrets are revealed, we'll return to the faith of our fathers ", it means that the day Satan will be bound and not just for 24 hours is approaching! It's our turn to rush this victory of Mary, with our prayers, fasts and waivers as she asks us in this January message. Then it will be a New Pentecost of Love on the entire world. We can't even imagine the beauty of what lies ahead!

Waiting for Mary's Immaculate Heart Triumph, we call on Heaven to help us face the test that is in front of the entire world. We are immersed in a war where fear and despair want to impose. Let's then take the right weapons, the ones Maria gives us and has been giving us for 40 years.

Dearest Gospa, to you who lived and suffered with Jesus, we turn and take your hand in this beginning of Lent. We desire to grow intimacy with Him and give up everything that prevents us from truly belonging to Him. Give us the courage to multiply the small hidden sacrifices, so dear to God!
