Wait and Pause
Many time I am forced to wait. I feel stressed while waiting when it is forced on you. ?Some times; waiting is joy or fun.
I had encountered people who are not bothered about my time. They are into their own world. Some of them have mastered the art of giving excuses or reasoning out their ignorance.
Few examples of you getting stressed & have to wait compulsorily are:
1.???Other person does not bother to tell you the time of arrival.
2.???You keep guessing the response / action.
3.???Not answering your specific queries.
4.???Tossing the problem.
5.???Drifting on the topic.
6.???Person do not leave or arrive in time.
7.???Traffic signals.
8.???Your near dear ones won’t share their plans and. And so on.
Do you make other people wait? Please check if they get stressed.
However; waiting is inevitable part of our life. Why not learn to be comfortable with it. ?Develop art of waiting and get destressed. Did you notice below instances in your life where you enjoy waiting.
1.???Baby is sleeping, playing, enjoying and you wait.
2.???Spending time in nature during sunrise or sunset.
3.???Changing colors of nature.
4.???Changing seasons.
5.???Concerts, Plays, Sports, Festivals, celebrations, etc.
6.???You are in a good company.
7.???Your Pleasure Travelling. And so on.
Every time you will not be lucky enough to be enjoying waiting. Over a period of time; I have learn to be comfortable while waiting. ?
This became possible when I started converting my waiting time into Pause. Pauses made me comfortable and I got into the driving seat of my time. Pause could be of a few minutes, Days, weeks, months.
Converting waiting time into Pause is fairly simple. However; with practice you will master it. How I do it …
1.???Start paying attention to breathing.
2.???Think waiting is a bonus time or gift.
3.???Develop new idea/s.
4.???Observe nature around you.
5.???Take proactive action/s.
6.???Pursue your hobby.
7.???Ignore the person who makes you wait compulsorily.
8.???Take rest.
Pause gives immense satisfaction and unwinds me. Some of you may convert your Pause into most productive time.
Do you have any tips / examples? Please share with your friends, or me. If we can have more Pauses than compulsory wait, I believe we will have gala time.
All the best.
