Wait a minute, what bug?

Everyone has encountered bugs in software. There is no such thing as bug-free software, it seems.

It's even worse when bugs occur in customised software solutions, isn't it?

But what has recently fallen from my eyes like scales:

It is not the errors in the software solution that are the real problem, but the error in the choice of software solution.

It's the difference between: "The tap is dripping in the hotel room" and "The hotel is on the wrong continent"

I experience it all the time. The biggest mistake is made in the business analysis and the conclusions that are drawn from it.

Compared to this, errors in the software are completely negligible.

Is this something you know?
