Waggle Goes Low: 2025 HQ Score Predictions

Signs of life in the great white north!

After the Minnesota average hovered at 5 degrees for most of February (fahrenheit, for our Canadian friends and finance director), we’ve finally been rewarded in our final week with a miraculous 40-plus forecast… thus teasing the long-awaited but never fully trusted first sign of spring.?

Naturally, breaking freezing has us dreaming of breaking 80 (or 90, or 100). And with sunny tee times manifesting in our minds, we figured what better time to check in on the low scores our staff is personally manifesting for this year’s golf season.

Travis - Founder/President

• Low Round Goal: 4 under
• Confidence Level: 7/10 - Done it once before

Kyle - Director of Finance (and aforementioned Waggle Canadian)

• Low Round Goal: 6 over (78 at Elk River)
• Confidence Level: 3/10

Jacob - Director of Product

• Low Round Goal: Even par on par 72 course
• Confidence Level: 7/10

Luke - Director of Sales and Ops

• Low Round Goal: 18 under in a 4-person scramble
• Confidence level: 9/10

Marty - Key Account Manager

• Low Round Goal: 5 over (76)
• Confidence Level:? 8/10?

Derek - Territory Sales Manager

• Low Round Goal: 4 over (76)
• Confidence Level: I'll have to play a really solid round, I'll give it a 30% chance

Diego - Sales Account Executive

Katie - Inventory & Supply Chain Planner

• Low Round Goal: 20 over par (92 at Eagle Valley Golf Course)?

Evan - Logistics Coordinator

• Confidence Level: Drastically higher if I’m only playing 9 holes

Claire - Digital Marketing Manager

• Low Round Goal: 18 over
• Confidence Level: 7/10

John - Social Media Specialist

• Low Round Goal: 27 over (break 100 on a par 72 course)
• Confidence Level: I'll be honest, confidence is low. Breaking 100 has been the goal for 2 years now, and the progress isn't encouraging. My only sign of life is that I shot 13 over par through 9 once, so theoretically it's possible.

Tim - Regional Store Manager

• Low Round Goal: 7 over (break 80 on a par 72)
• Confidence Level: 6/10

Morgan - Event Coordinator

• Low Round Goal: 20 over
• Confidence Level: 3.5/10
