I remember my first day at Sidmach Technologies and I was introduced to my team, a data team to be precise. I was so happy to join the team as I saw how young, vibrant and receptive they were.
They were working on various projects while WAEC EDUSTAT was top priority as the time I joined the team. I started working alongside Alex Ifesinachi as backend developer.
When I was briefed about WAEC EDUSTAT and I got access to the code base. I was surprised and shocked by the big data and the work done so far. I was impressed which also geared me up to work on the team pace to be able to achieve the team goals.
What is WAEC Edustat, you may be wondering? WAEC Edustat is an analytics platform that is powered by data and artificial intelligence. It gives rich and unique smart statistical insights into education and assessment in West Africa by using historical and current data to give detailed intelligence to stakeholders around the world in a smart and easy-to-use way. WAEC Edustat provides a wide range of rich, interactive educational assessment statistics and insights in the form of graphs, summaries, tables, trends, and interactive dashboards. With just a few clicks, you can get intelligence, do research, and make smart decisions.
