Wabash Dealer Network: Bergey's Truck Centers
Wabash’s dealer network is an integral part of our ecosystem that offers best-in-class solutions and customer experiences for any fleet, from first to final mile.
Continuing our journey across Wabash’s expansive dealer network, we stopped by Bergey's Truck Centers to meet with several team members, including Director of Trailer Sales Eric Greenhough , and VP of Medium Duty Trucks, Wabash Trailer & Truck Body Stephen Rybacki . The team shared insights into what makes them a go-to Wabash dealer on the East Coast.
Bergey’s Truck Centers, often called Bergey's , joined the Wabash dealer network in 2022, adding a range of trailer units, truck bodies, and platforms to their already extensive dealership offerings. Despite being a newer addition to the Wabash dealer network, their integration has been smooth.
“The Wabash training program has been excellent, educating us on the product, features, and benefits of the trailers,” shared Greenhough. “The process has been seamless, and our relationship with Wabash has been key to making our trailer offerings work.”
Greenhough further emphasized that “[Bergey’s] is here to do everything they can for our customers,” whether new or used truck sales, truck leasing, service, parts, trailers, and even automotive. Bergey’s offers customers the chance to demo their trailer inventory, allowing them to hook up a trailer for a drive, load and unload, and fully explore the product.
“Believe it or not, some of the best feedback we’ve received was from a customer who doesn’t even buy from us,” said Rybacki. “They took the time to give us detailed feedback on the specifications and what they liked about it. Long story short, they felt it was the best trailer out there.”
With a legacy spanning 100 years, Bergey’s has been a cornerstone of the transportation industry since its humble beginnings in an old blacksmith shop in Souderton, PA. Starting as a small two-bay garage operation in 1924, they have grown to a 5th generation, family-owned business with over 50 locations offering parts, service, automotive, and trailer services throughout PA, NJ, DE, and MD.
“This milestone is incredibly important for our company,” shared Rybacki. “It all comes down to our people. We look for individuals and companies in the industry who align with our values and deliver those values to our customers. Wabash has been a great partner in this regard.”
Considering that less than 1% of companies last 100 years[1], Bergey's legacy and commitment to top-quality service is nothing short of impressive.

“We have a wealth of knowledge across the Bergey business, with many team members having 25 to 50 years of service,” shared Rybacki. “This longevity speaks to our culture and serves as a valuable resource for customers who may not be as familiar with our products.”
However, for Bergey’s, it’s not just about the sale. They emphasize the importance of educating customers on all aspects of fleet operations, including their trailer maintenance and service capabilities. From service bays at their facilities to mobile dispatch roadside maintenance units, it’s no surprise that Bergey’s network has thrived for 100 years.
“The trailer is just one part of the sale,” stated Greenhough. “Wabash supports us in these conversations, but it’s crucial for us to emphasize the service we provide and continue to provide over the life of the vehicle.”
The benefits of the Wabash dealer network extend beyond customer interactions.
“We don’t see other Wabash dealers as competitors,” shared Rybacki. “We see them as partners. Meeting and working with them is crucial. These meetings are opportunities to learn from one another, especially as a newer Wabash dealership. In one case, we were even able to sell some trailers because another dealer in the network had a customer with an immediate need and we were happy to assist. Overall, I’d say the partnership with Wabash and their dealer network has been fantastic.”
