As the volunteer Chairperson of Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans frontères (Canada), a wonderful organization that has been doing difficult and important work around the world, I am excited to celebrate 15 years of VWB/VSF in Canada. VWB/VSF is working in a number of critical areas: with herders in South Sudan to improve food security in that hungry, war-torn nation, to bring vaccinations and veterinary care to remote communities in Canada’s Arctic, improving the health of animals and reducing the risks for people. VWB/VSF is also working with tens of thousands of small farmers in Africa and Asia to help them provide food and income for their families. We are currently supporting our overseas partners through the COVID-19 crisis with PPE and on-line assistance. These are tough times for charities, particularly those who do not work in our own communities. Today I am asking for your support to help us continue our work. Every donation is welcome and needed.
