1. OpenAI evaluates the release of a tool to detect ChatGPT-written content
OpenAI has developed a tool designed to detect text written by ChatGPT, which could be particularly useful for identifying instances of academic plagiarism. A spokesperson confirmed that the company is researching a watermarking method to subtly embed invisible markers within AI-generated text, which can be detected later. This watermarking focuses solely on content generated by ChatGPT and shows promise in identifying subtle alterations but is less effective against significant changes, such as those made using translation tools.

This tool allows users to verify the authenticity of Prosecco bottles by simply taking a photo of the label. The agreement also includes leveraging Microsoft technologies to enhance operational efficiency and modernize business management systems.

3. Figure 02: The humanoid robot advancing automation and interaction
Figure AI has unveiled Figure 02, its latest advanced humanoid robot, which features significant improvements in both hardware and software over its predecessor. Enhanced by AI, this humanoid can engage in speech-to-speech conversations through collaboration with OpenAI and is equipped with an artificial vision system featuring six RGB cameras. It boasts a more powerful battery and a CPU/GPU that is three times faster than the previous model, enabling it to perform complex tasks autonomously. Recently, Figure 02 was tested by BMW for data collection and training purposes.
