Job Description:

• Building a brand new application to allow people to configure how they want a linear channel to look, so they can create automatic scheduling for their international programming.
• They have a lot of international channels, a lot are not rated (in countries that will not make a lot of money, no add revenue and mostly just out there for the exposure) so they do not want to spend a lot of money to create a program schedule.
• The goal is to automate scheduling.
• Mid-Sr Level full-stack Java (front-end and back-end experience) developer. 
• The main skillset required is experience using the VUE Javascript framework. 
• All work would be remote. 
• Candidate will be working with a small team of about 2-3 other resources, so must be self-sufficient. 
• Good communication skills a must. 
• This position is not being considered for conversion to a Discovery employee, so work status is not relevant. If offshore, must work core US hours of 9-5 or something close. 
• Rate depends on skill/experience but looking to stay in the.
