the Institution is proud to announce the return of the Vehicle Thermal Management Systems (VTMS) Conference and Exhibition in 2024, dedicated to discussing the latest international developments in Vehicle Thermal Management Systems.
Taking place every two years and now in its 16th iteration, VTMS features two days of technical presentations from vehicle OEMs, academics and researchers from around the world to address the associated challenges surrounding battery development, fuel cell management, HVAC and simulation.
Presentations are peer-reviewed by an experienced committee of expert engineers active in the transportation industry who curate presentations to ensure their technical relevance and importance to attendees, with confirmed input from Cosworth , Jaguar Land Rover UK , Thermoanalytics Europe, HORIBA MIRA , Valeo Thermal Systems, bp , MAHLE , 达索系统 , Gamma Technologies and many others.

"This conference is an exciting opportunity for all engineers, scientists and designers to network with others in the industry as well as with potential new suppliers and customers," said Bernd Gruenenwald , Director Global Engineering Services - Corporate Research at MAHLE and organising committee member. "It is the ideal place to meet some of the leading innovators in this field and to learn the latest trends in thermal system and component designs and sustainable material developments."
Engineers involved in thermal management components, materials, systems and controls should join this specialist community to stay abreast of the latest developments, hear successful strategies and lessons learned from recent projects and have their say on the future direction of these technologies.
Speaking about the previous event in 2022, a mechanical engineer at WAVE commented that the conference "has proven itself to be a great opportunity the see, hear, and discuss, the latest ideas for advancing the thermal management systems of the next generation vehicles", while representatives from Polestar Automotive UK called it "a thoroughly enjoyable & engaging event with a lot of opportunity for discussion with other delegates".
Dedicated networking breaks, discussions and a complimentary evening reception and dinner will also provide unparalleled opportunities for engineers to network and make valuable connections with like-minded peers across the industry.
