VSH Celebrates World Biodiversity Day & World Environment Day

By organizing a biodiversity awareness corridor in the main building, VSH celebrates World Biodiversity Day (May 22nd) and World Environment Day (June 5th) where employees, suppliers, customers, and partners can experience the treasures of Suriname’s biodiversity.

This awareness corridor represents Suriname’s young and old coastal plain, considering the savannah ecosystem followed by the highland forest. Information about Suriname’s biodiversity and the environment is also shared to make everyone aware of its treasures.

VSH group of companies has taken many steps to protect our planet’s incredible diversity of life, such as planting mangrove trees, reusing rainwater in our production companies, planting a vegetable garden, producing biodiversity-friendly products, recycle plastic products, and supporting environmental organizations.
