I am more familiar with Databricks, PyCharm editors than VSCode. But recently during the usage I have used the “ChatGPT” extension.?

It is quite useful as we can use ChatGPT from the editor itself. Sharing the steps followed during the process.

Installation

To use this extension, install it from the VSCode marketplace.

  • Step 1 :- Open VSCode
  • Step 2 :- Go to the Extensions
  • Step 3 :- Search for ChatGpt.
  • Step 4 :- Install ChatGpt.

Step 5 :- Once Installed log in to the OpenAI website and get the API Keys.

Web Site :- https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

Step 6 :- Click on create new secret key and store the key for future reference

Step 7 :- Store the API Key in settings

Step 8 :- Now Here we go explore and ask questions to the ChatGPT from VSCode itself.
