VRF VS MULTI-AIR HANDLER DUCTLESS

With VRF systems becoming more prevalent, you may consider installing them VS multiple ductless spits with up to five Air Handlers.
Before just deciding the VRF is the type of system to select consider the following. This is a topic I am incredibly familiar with. I have performed forensic engineering studies, worked on the installation team to ensure I understood the systems, designed, and estimated both types.
·?????? Piping-With a VRF there is no room for error. Although you can run the piping further out because of the branch boxes, if there is an issue it is difficult to access them. Try finding one when the ceiling -drywall has been installed.
With Ductless split you may have a limited range, however this is why I am suggesting multiple systems.
?·?????? Controls. Ductless splits predominantly use a standard controller. VRF systems have a more complicated BACnet system.

I think VRF systems have their place, I personally like the use of multiple ductless splits. ?The associated costs are less expensive. The operational cost is too close to call.
This is my opinion. If anyone can provide a clear concise reason for me to change my mind, I?would love to hear it.
I admit I am only human and do make mistakes.
