Voyage of Friendship

To count the blessings is something we have to do often. Friendship - Unique and invaluable among all relations should be the perfect one to highlight today.

Like a well-grown tree, it unfolds its worth over the years as we continue to listen, support, care, and stand for each other over time. Loaded with moments and the life lessons imparted by my people, I am compelled to put a few of my emotions to words, hoping to share a sense of warmth and gratitude.

A Sweet Motivation:

A teenage boy, bundled up in shyness, received a boost of enthusiasm from his best friend, whom he trusted completely at school. Lived up with those words, he found the courage to stand in front of a crowd and speak from the heart, overcoming his fears.

Bonds That Transcend Distance:

Three friends since high school had to separate to different cities after graduating, leaving one behind in their hometown. Despite their distance, they remained a source of inspiration for demonstrating their commitment to families, effective planning, and mentoring him.

Their best of best times happened after the one who believed in their support, moved to the city, seeking opportunities.

The Lifeline of a Timely Call:

A timely call from the right person led to a sensible conversation while he was going through hard times at work. Thoughts of self-doubt were overwhelming, but the friend's words provided reassurance:

"Things can be tough, It's all about our belief. Take time to settle and start giving your best in everything."

"Stick to your hobbies and never miss out fun."

Indeed, things started to improve, and confidence was restored after I practiced it.

The Blessing of a Trustworthy at Work:

Sharing the workspace with the same person for years requires trust beyond sharing work, cracking jokes, exchanging food and smiles, and going on trips. It's a blessing to get a person of similar thoughts with whom we would be happier and make changes.

Each of these moments from different phases of my life holds a special place in my heart and continues to whisper the truths that I realized already and have to go through again.

Friends may be separated but not friendship.
