Voting Systems
Voting systems are a subset of Exorde's systems aimed at regulating the internal workings of the platform.
Thanks to them, the project community will have the ability to fine-tune everything from the rewards provided by the working systems to the trust scores assigned to each source of information (performed for every domain name on the Internet).
Voting systems are necessary to maintain platform neutrality and ensure that the community retains full power to shape the future and confident development of the project.
Participation in voting systems is regulated in two ways:
- Reputation (RP): when a participant contributes to working systems, they are rewarded in EXD and RP (Reputation).
Reputation is not exchangeable and indicates his involvement in the Exorde environment.
Some voting systems, such as changing variables related to working systems, are only available to users with a very high RP, which shows his trust in the project.
- Placing Bets: To prevent spam and malicious actions by participants, each participant must pay an "entry fee" or bid.
Unlike working systems, this bet is not refundable. The stakes of a voting system are much lower than those of working systems since their role is mainly to deal with vote spamming.
