Vote For All Of Us!
PA Stands Up
At PA Stands Up, we organize for power. Across race, place, and generation, we are building a PA that works for #AllOfUs
Hi Friends,
It’s crunch time. We’re less than 20 days from Election Day and a few days from Pennsylvania’s voter registration deadline! You must register to vote by Monday, October 21st!!! Check with three friends to make sure they’re registered, too!?
Who are you voting for in this election? I encourage you to vote for your community members who can’t. Whether it be children, a friend or family member who can’t vote due to citizenship status, or an incarcerated loved one. When you go to the ballot box or fill out your mail-in ballot, consider which candidates are prioritizing the best interest of all of you. Up and down the ballot, we need elected officials we can organize to better the lives of working class people and strengthen our communities.
Every vote counts, and every Pennsylvanian deserves to have a voice in this election. For information on voting eligibility for justice-impacted individuals, click here. Any formerly incarcerated individual, regardless of past charges, can vote in PA! If you or someone you love are currently incarcerated but will be released by or on Election Day, you can still vote. You can also vote while incarcerated for a misdemeanor. However, there’s one exception: If you were convicted of violating any provisions of the Pennsylvania Election Code within the last four years, you are not eligible to vote. Contact your county election officials with any questions, and make your plan to vote today!
You can make a difference in deciding this election, so I’m asking you to volunteer once a week until Election Day. Knock doors for the Harris and Walz campaign every Friday in Lancaster or every Saturday until election day! Don’t live near Berks or Lancaster, or need a virtual option? Join us for deep canvass phone banks on Thursdays from 5 to 9 PM with People’s Action to have compassionate conversations about this upcoming election with fellow Pennsylvanians. Want to get involved in local races? Join us on Mondays and Wednesdays for our down ballot phonebanks, or come out to a canvassing day of action this weekend in Berks for Rayne Reitnauer or Luzerne for Fern Leard! We’re stronger together. Now let’s get out the vote!!!
In community,
