Volunteers Wanted

Due to a last minute cancellation, NEW JERSEY OPERATION LIFESAVER has a limited number of seats available for an Authorized Volunteer training class on Friday, February 19th in Monmouth Junction. This class is needed in order to do Operation Lifesaver presentations. If you are interested in becoming an Operation Lifesaver Volunteer and either live or work in New Jersey we would be happy consider you. If you know somebody who you think might be interested please pass this on.

In order to take the class on the 19th you must first complete a brief online training session. To do this go to https://oli.org/training/volunteer-for-oli and fill out the on-line OLAV application. When you have submitted the application please contact us (see below) so that we can be certain to open the training for you. If you live in an adjoining state and use your home address on the application, contacting us is essential so that NJOL receives the application.

If you have any questions or for further information please contact Michael Allen at [email protected] or Todd Hirt at [email protected].

The volunteer willing to work in the community has been the core of the Operation Lifesaver program since its inception over 40 years ago. While I've posted this in my role as the Deputy Coordinator at NJOL there is a need for volunteers in all of the OL organizations.  If you are interested but are not in New Jersey the application process is the same except that you should contact your own State Coordinator through  https://oli.org/state_coordinators/.

Thank you, and remember - The Train Will Win.
