Volunteering, to Make Mentorship Videos

Since May 2020 after Covid-19 hit the world, as an architect and educator I felt a professional responsibility and decided to voluntarily participate in live conversations and create some mentorship short videos to help our young professionals who are looking for a job and helping them to learn about the overall shape of the architectural community. I added the recordings to my youtube channel to help the foreign-trained architects who are not familiar with the Canadian professional construction market. During this time, twenty clips were made to cover basics and fundamental issues in architecture, IAP, related introductions to the professional associations, job search strategies, and answered many key questions that have been received through social media. These videos were viewed more than 2900 times so far and I made so many unseen friends across the globe, which I am sure I will meet with some of them in a near future. This library stays open and available to those who are seeking mentorship, to learn where to go, what to do, and receive a proper direction to get a related and meaningful job in their field of specialization in construction. Refer to the received feedback, this volunteer activity not only provided positive feelings and productive professional results to the audience but also help the families' income and the overall economy.
I believe in mentorship and knowledge sharing. I would like to thank all my remote wonderful mentors who sent me useful resources and thought about me when they found related topics to my field, wisely. I also want to thank those mentors and educators who made lots of efforts to make current and quality content to share their knowledge with the community and shared it with the public, you are simply awesome. 2020 was not an easy year by no means, but with so many acts of kindness, together we will put this behind us.
Thank you and stay well
