Volunteer Opportunities at the Star of Hope Men's Development Center

Star of Hope's Men's Development Center offers shelter, meals, a chance to start over and comprehensive programs to foster spiritual growth, education, employment, life management, and recovery from substance abuse. Volunteers play a pivotal role in delivering these services, and there are several meaningful ways to contribute. Your time volunteering is invaluable to both staff and the residents we serve. Here are two ways that you can help:

1. Meal Service Volunteers

• Volunteers assist in setting up, serving, and cleaning up during meal times. This hands-on opportunity allows you to provide nourishment and interact directly with the residents, offering encouragement and support.
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts

2. Central Station Assistance

• Volunteers support the Men's Development Center staff by assisting at Central Station. Tasks will include answering phones, directing traffic through the area and paging residents. This is an excellent opportunity for those with an attention to detail and friendly, outgoing personalities.
• Shift times: 8 AM - 10 AM/10 AM - 12 PM/12 PM - 2 PM
