Friday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

4ALL 2023 is taking place on Friday, March 3. Attorney and paralegal volunteers are needed to serve in 2-hour shifts from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the day. There are limited opportunities for in-person service in addition to the opportunity to serve virtually. Attorney volunteers may designate practice areas in which they are willing to take calls for 4ALL.?Learn more and register!

Please join us for our upcoming virtual Mingling with Membership panel discussing the topic “Establishing a Summer Associate Program – Tips for Small Firms.” This panel will discuss how to find strong candidates and how to create a meaningful summer associate experience for both the legal practitioner and the law student. Sign Up for YLD Grab-a-Coffee Program?

Friday, Feb. 10

The Young Lawyer's Division Law Student Outreach Committee is continuing its flagship Grab-a-Coffee Program this spring. This program pairs law students with practicing attorneys based on their practice area(s) of interest. Participating attorneys meet with a law student one time for 30 to 60 minutes, and the meetings will be virtual unless both the student and the attorney indicate they are willing to meet in person.?Sign up by Friday, Feb. 10, to participate. Know a student who could benefit from the GaC program? Encourage them to?sign up?as well.

The Minorities in the Profession Committee is accepting nominations for its 8th annual Legal Legends of Color Awards. Citizen Lawyer Awards

Deadline: Friday, March 10

Nominations for the NCBA Citizen Lawyer Awards, which recognize members who have distinguished themselves in their volunteer service to community and civic causes, are being accepted through noon on March 10, 2023.?Learn more and access the nomination form.?

Liberty Bell Award
