The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs is gearing up for a significant procurement opportunity valued at $750 million. The “GLOBAL ADVISORY” contract, currently in the Pre-RFP stage, is set to be recompeted in Q1 of GFY2025. The solicitation is expected in November 2024, with awards anticipated by March 2025. Why Am I Passionate About Proposals?
Ashley Floro, CEO of Proptimal Solutions, was recently asked that question, and here’s how she so eloquently replied:
I’ve always been a competitive person. Not only in the sense that I like to win, but in the sense that I always like to work to be better. When I was younger, I was a competitive gymnast. As a gymnast—perfection—that perfect score—is rare. Proposals are similar—you’ll likely never submit a perfect proposal. You’ll almost always find something you wish you had done differently, something you wish you could go back and enhance. But you can’t beat yourself up over those things—you can’t change the past. However, you can control what you do in the future. What you absolutely can—and should do—is try to strengthen those aspects of your proposals moving forward, whenever possible. -Ashley Floro, CEO at Proptimal Solutions
