volume 3: the ripple effect (starting with “me”)

its been eighteen months since the world hit the reset button and we’re still dealing with heavy stuff between covid, fires, and floods. but as i was reminded the other day, its the little acts of kindness that can have the biggest impact.?

i dropped my bag with wallet, keys and all the things during a bike ride ??? i tried retracing my steps and it was gone. a few hours later jesse came to my house to return it and insisted on not wanting anything in return.?

acts of being human reassures me humanity grows every day. jesse shot the shit for a while and he cracked me up when he said his stepson posts pictures of his dinner on “the face” (facebook) and his reaction was "c’mon...they're just beans. get real man!" [and i swear he was smiling right before and after i snapped the photo ????]?

jesse going out of his way to bring back my bag was a reminder that things will always be gained or lost. i was either going to stress about it or let things be. and, since i’ve been tending to my greenhouse it was easier for me?not to stress and move on.

jesse was the unexpected surprise of a greenhouse that rippled his impact to me that day. when our greenhouses are tended to, we see how each ripple (from jesse’s ME) amplifies into all (WEs) and COMMUNITY. when we live authentically, by our purpose and values, our day to day decisions become the greenhouse conditions to live by.?

these actions and interactions we have ripple out in the same stream were all a part of. its then we realize were all interconnected from the past we hardly knew, to the present we all live, and the future were building for.
