I couldn’t be more excited to announce that Volt Athletics has acquired ZAMA Health ! I’d like to officially welcome Brendan Sullivan and the ZAMA team to Volt HQ ?? ?

So Why ZAMA??

ZAMA Health is a perfect addition to the Volt Family. Volt already delivers AI-powered, world-class physical training guidance at scale. But the body and mind are deeply intertwined and mental wellbeing is more important now than ever before.

In order to best support our Volt Family of coaches and athletes, we believe Volt should deliver more than physical training guidance. The acquisition of ZAMA enables us to take a giant leap forward in servicing the holistic athlete, training the body and the mind.?

The ZAMA team has built an incredible product with minimal resources and it's beautifully synergistic with Volt's mission to help athletes worldwide maximize their performance, health, and wellbeing. A match made in heaven. ?

I have been a big believer in Brendan and ZAMA since Day One. I continue to be blown away by his talent and capabilities and can't wait to see what he can do as Volt's new GM of Athlete Wellbeing.

Why now?

The timing couldn’t be better. Depression and anxiety is on the rise, especially among Gen Z , and it’s becoming painfully clear that athlete mental health is an essential area of support. We must do more to help our athletes with their mental health and wellbeing.

The NCAA is even mandating D1 athletic departments provide mental health and wellness resources to their student-athletes, beginning in August 2024 .

ZAMA is the only solution that is capable of affordably providing these critical resources at scale. With this acquisition, we are thrilled to be able to bring ZAMA to our Volt Family of 2M+ athletes worldwide.?
