2024 for the Olympics there will be an official novelty in the sky of France. The German company EVtol of businessman Dirk Hoke , launched into service the Volocopter the first electric air taxi in France yesterday during an air show at Le Bourget airport.
The German eVTOL manufacturer has been authorized to provide air taxi service in Paris for the Olympic Games in 2024.
Its Volocopter 2X prototype, with a three-minute flight at an altitude of 1,640 feet, is the first official test that the French Civil Aviation authorities authorize.
France is the first country to implement the air taxi service on the European continent. This has aroused the interest of several countries exploring the change of a safe and fast means of transport. Thanks to the ideas of the businessman Dirk Hoke who is one of the entrepreneurs with projects that he launches into a bright future to save the environment from the carbon footprint.
Hopefully at some point in the future we will see this product in the skies of the Dominican Republic.
