VolkerFitzpatrick attends Sizewell C's & DWP's Careers Fair

Yesterday, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd attended the Sizewell C & Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Careers event, held at the University of Suffolk , Neptune Quay in Ipswich Jobs, Suffolk

The purpose of the event was to engage with individuals from various backgrounds, promoting career opportunities available to them within our sector.

It was attended by students from the University of Suffolk, West Suffolk College, East Coast College as well as individuals from local job centres within the county.

We also had the opportunity to network with local charities, social enterprises and other community groups, who support individuals from disadvantage backgrounds, aiding them with essential skills and development provision, with the ultimate goal of bringing them closer to employment.

Myself and Megan meet The Mayor, Cllr Elango Elavalakan who officially opened the event and a speech was given by Mr Jack Abbott MP for Ipswich.

A big thanks to my VolkerFitzpatrick colleagues, Dan Brown – Foreman, ?Ellie Davies- Site Administrator and Megan Hawkins- Apprentice Business Administrator, who also supported on the day.
