"16 Smart Leadership Strategies To Encourage Team Camaraderie"
"Provide Regular Opportunities To Build Trust: Team building can happen in any number of different settings. From weekend retreats and ropes courses to more intimate gatherings with opportunities to share and connect, the most important thing is that leaders provide regular opportunities for such interactions and establish an environment of psychological safety, mutual accountability and trust so that team members feel safe to share."
Adaptive Organizational And Work Design For The Future Of Work
From the conclusion: "Most of us want to work for and lead dynamic organizations and teams that are positioned to creatively and sustainably add value to the market. In order to stay relevant amid a rapidly changing world, leaders must rethink the how and why behind the designs of their organizations and the work they and their teams perform. Focusing on adaptive organizational design and moving toward more flexible and dynamic work design will help you and your people to create a vibrant environment and culture of organizational learning and growth that will allow you to meet the ever-changing demands of the market, better respond to disruption and not only survive but thrive in the future of work."
New Academic Research:?International Journal of Healthcare Management
Check out the latest academic research from Dr. Westover, Dr. Cunningham, and Dr. Harvey in the International Journal of Healthcare Management, titled: "Drivers of Job Satisfaction Among Healthcare Professionals: A Quantitative Review."
Abstract: This study aims to understand the drivers of job satisfaction (intrinsic rewards, work relations, extrinsic rewards, and work-life balance) among healthcare professionals on a global scale. Job satisfaction responses from the 2015 Work Orientations IV wave of the International Social Survey Programme were analyzed. Respondents self-identified their occupation based on corresponding International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08) codes. Overall job satisfaction was highest among health service managers and generalist medical practitioners and lowest among environmental hygiene professionals and nursing professionals. The findings of this study may assist health services managers in recognizing low job satisfaction and developing occupation-specific engagement strategies for healthcare employees.
