The Voices

Real political leaders are “up front” with people. They:

• Flag policy agendas during election campaigns;
• Address injustice to the extent permitted by law;
• Identify and justify the need to change the law;
• Seek a mandate for a referendum at an election; and
• Hold referendums at election time.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has not ticked any of these boxes with his Voice proposal.? He is clearly just as dodgy as his predecessors, if not more so.

The Voice proposal is, at best, an indictment of Mr Albanese’s leadership.

Our constitution gives voice to injustice by way of Parliament. The Voice proposal reflects poorly on our members of Parliament. Their failure to act responsibly reflects poorly on Mr Albanese’s leadership capability.

Mr Albanese is concerned about the failure of the government’s aboriginal welfare program. He should be concerned about the failure of all our welfare programs.

More than anything else, Mr Albanese has not justified the? need to divide the Nation on racial grounds.

Owing to leadership failure, government is regrettably no longer about the administration of justice; it has become about the empowerment and enrichment of dodgy people, with dire economic, social and environmental implications for the Nation, particularly for those who will follow in our footsteps - aboriginal or otherwise.
