The smell of change is in the air. Can you feel it?
The voice of women, their stories, and their uniqueness in the world of work and especially in companies and organizations are getting louder and clearer than it was ever before.
Women have always known how to tell a story, and through it to convey messages that have brought changes and revolutions in in their families, society and in the entire world.
But wait, not everything is crystal clear, we still have a long way to go, women's voices are still muted in conference rooms, job interviews, the board of directors (if they are even in it), the media, and many other public platforms.
We still experience “Mansplaining” - even when we are already becoming professionals and experts in the field, our environment still feels the need to "explain" things to us, because it is clear that we do not understand.
“Women had always fought for men, and for their children. Now they were ready to fight for their own human rights.”
-Emmeline Pankhurst-
So, how can we be more self-confident?
How can we convey a message more clearly without explanations?
How can we achieve our goals in every meeting, interaction and every presentation?
How can we learn and be inspired by the stories of the heroic, innovative and powerful women who broke through the glass ceilings and paved the way for the women of today?
We invite you to join us on a journey, an uncompromising, real, empowering journey that will teach you how to make your voice heard and how to convey your messages without fear. A journey that will give you the most effective and practical tools in the world of Storytelling and messaging.
Let me introduce you to my colleague
Ortal Hackshur is the Director of training and content development in Leave a Mark. She brings with her 15 years of experience training in Israel and the US and She is also certified group facilitator, bibliotherapeutic, Researcher, developer, and facilitator of women's groups in the world of feminism for almost a decade. Ortal and I had the chance to work on many projects together. As two strong women we break boundaries every day and take many more women forward with us.
Ortal Has developed a unique program for female empowerment of educational staff, and young teenage girls through the stories of revolutionary women.
One more thing about Ortal, she is a professional boxer and you did not hear that from me... but she made our CEO to box in the middle of her job interview.
"No woman, No Mark" - Yes women! You can Leave a Mark:
We were wrong. We were taught that what is important in a presentation is to speak loudly, move in the room from side to side and make sure to look everyone in the eye. This is not true. What really matters in this presentation is the ability to tell a story.
It's the ability to take lots of data, numbers and messages and pack them into a sharp, clear and interesting story. In an age where a good idea can change a life or a career, the ability to tell it well to a boss, a colleague, a client, a board member is very significant.
