The Strategic HR Business Partner
As the backbone of organizational success, HRBPs play a pivotal role in shaping an organization's culture, managing talent, and driving strategic initiatives that boost business revenue or profitability. You must become a strategic business partner to achieve this.?
A strategic HR Business Partner is a human resources expert who works with the business to provide human capital solutions that help the organisation implement its strategy and accomplish business and organisational goals.?
???????????????????If you're not going to do it strategically, don't do it at all!
According to research, when HR operations focus more on strategic initiatives, business functions perceive improvements in employee performance, retention, revenue, and profit.?
Dear Human Resources Professionals, what you require at the table is a VOICE, not a SEAT. What if you have a seat but no voice? And, in order to get that VOICE at the table, you must demonstrate that you understand the business challenges and problems, as well as how your HR solutions help to address those obstacles.?
We don't need you to seat at the table, we want your VOICE at the table!
I've worked with various HRBPs and understand why some aren't successful. For us to be able to support business executives, I normally ask three questions.?
1. What organisational capabilities must our organisation have in order for our customers to do business with us rather than our competitors?

2. What employee skills do our people require to understand and respond to short- and long-term market demands?
3. How can we develop an HR strategy that will assist our company succeed??
And finally, what does the business need from HR? What is really important to the business??How do you IP (Important-Pain-Points) your business leaders to provide strategic answers to their problems?
The truth is that HR is not supporting the business, HR is the business.?
As an HR professional, your role extends beyond the traditional administrative tasks. By embracing these expectations and qualities, you can become a true "people's champion" within your organization.?
Remember, staying adaptable, open to learning, and continually developing your skills will hold you in good stead as you deliver greater value to your organization.
Keep up the amazing work, HR professionals!
