Community and Collaboration!

It is amazing what happens when you Build Community! And with today's technology, we can Build Community anywhere in the world!

When this happens it gives us opportunities to support each other and collaborate

My great friends Wendy Stunt and Yvonne Reddin are two wonderful people I met during covid, through technology! We have truly connected and become amazing friends. We have worked together on livestreaming projects, writing articles, and we meet regularly in a networking group called "The Global Tea Break," and also individually through Zoom!

So let's talk about the benefits of Community and Collaboration!

My Beautiful Wife Leah is a Librarian at an elementary school and they scheduled a multicultural day, celebrating your heritage. Leah is Irish and so she decided on an Irish theme. When I reached out to Wendy and Yvonne, they jumped at the opportunity to supoport Leah. They began putting together items like books, candy and nick nacks for the children to enjoy. Then they shipped the items from Ireland to Oregon and Leah was able to give the kids some real and authentic Irish culture.

It was an amazing night at the elementary school because of a wonderful Community that works together... even from across the pond!

Dancing and Laughter filled the room and the children and adults enjoyed the evening and the culture. (Click on the Youtube link below)
