VMware’s Software Defined Data Center Comes To Google Cloud Platform
Google and VMware are partnering to support vSphere-based workloads on Google Cloud Platform. CloudSimple, a Santa Clara-based company that specializes in running VMware stack in the public cloud is enabling the technology behind this partnership.
VMware is the leader in the private cloud segment. Many enterprises have invested in VMware technologies such as vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC). With VMware stack available in the public cloud, customers can implement a hybrid cloud by seamlessly extending their on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
