The second video in the VeloCloud training series gives a brief overview of the 3 solution components:

  • the Edge, a physical or virtual appliance placed at the branch or in the data centre (either on premise, or cloud IaaS),
  • the Orchestrator, the UI where all the Edges are being managed from,
  • the Gateway, the control plane of the solution, redistributing routes between Edges, but also providing cloud-on-ramp capabilities to SaaS, or 3rd party IPSec connectivity to legacy sites.
