VMware BE Partner Awards : and the nominees are ITQ, ITQ and ITQ… Woohoo!

I am writing this short blog just a few days after the 2nd anniversary of ‘ITQ Leuven’. Man, what a rollercoaster it already has been! In the meantime, the team has grown to 8 passionate consultants and we’re aiming to continue the same speed of growth in 2020. 

On Feb 20th, 2020, VMware will be hosting the VMware Partner Awards for Belgium at Hof ter Loonst in Kampenhout, an evening during which they will recognize their key partners for growth, with various awards. Today, they publicly announced the nominees for each category : https://blogs.vmware.com/emea/be/2020/02/vmware-partner-award-belgium-here-are-the-nominees-2/ .

I am extremely proud that ITQ has been nominated, in not less than 3 categories. Woohoo!!!

-Most committed VMware partner of the year : this is the award we won last year and which was a great recognition from VMware in the ITQ vision and the investments we made, founding a branch office for ITQ in Belgium early 2018 (check here what I said about that during last year’s event in Feb 2019 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHxM1TrRkxs). The fact that we are being nominated in the same category again, tells me that we have worked very hard in 2019 and confirmed that that award was not a coincidence.

-VMware Innovator of the year : ITQ is all about being at the forefront of new technologies and focus on helping VMware and VMware customers get value out of innovating technologies. We explore the unknown and implement the known. I believe we received this nomination for various reasons : we are focusing a lot on automation projects, supporting customers and cloud providers to achieve more efficiency and agility. We have helped VMware with the first VMware PKS (Pivotal Container Services) implementations in the Belgian market. And we are building Digital Workspaces driving flexibility and ease of use for thousands of users.

-VMware Partner Personality of the year : although this sounds like a personal award for me, that’s not what it is! Who am I, without the team? What am I getting done all by myself, without the team? If I am being nominated for this award, than that is the merit of the entire team. Their passion, their drive, their expertise is what makes ITQ so successful. And when ITQ is successful, it makes me look good. You get my point, this nomination is also one for the team, the ITQ Leuven #DreamTeam I am so proud of.
