VMP takes the lead in formulating national standards for implementation!
On March 1, the national standard of "High Entropy Alloy Powder for Additive Manufacturing" led by VMP was officially implemented.
The national standard "high-entropy alloy powder for additive manufacturing" is applicable to high-entropy alloy powder for additive manufacturing prepared by gas atomization, plasma rotating electrode and other processes, the standard stipulates the chemical composition, particle size, loose density, tap density, fluidity and other key performance testing indicators and process performance parameters of the powder, covering the grade and classification of powder, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, accompanying documents and order forms, etc.
This standard fills the gap in the national standard system of high-entropy alloy powder for additive manufacturing, and makes China's high-entropy alloy powder for additive manufacturing have technical indicators, which can be followed and documented, and has a positive role in promoting the progress of high-entropy alloy powder production, process and technical standards, and will better serve industrial applications such as aero engines and marine engineering.
