VIVO Supports World Youth Skills Day

VIVO Supports World Youth Skills Day

Jayden spent his two weeks travelling about the business getting an understanding of all the various departments and roles that VIVO have within its business. From listening to calls at VIVO’s helpdesk in Speke to observing a problem-solving meeting in Aldershot, Jayden was able to get a greater understanding of the vast elements of VIVOs structure and customer delivery requirements.

Here Jayden tells us a little more about his experience:

Hi Jayden, can you tell us what you most enjoyed during your work placement?

I really enjoyed my time at RAF Cosford the most. At Cosford, I was shown around the RAF base, and I got to see many interesting things including the numerous RAF planes in the hangar and also visited the air control tower. I even got to sit in one of the planes which was fantastic! The early 6am starts were a challenge though.

Do you know which career path you would like to take yet? Has the placement influenced his decision?

My time with VIVO has definitely influenced what I want to do in the future, maybe a career in the RAF? ?While I am still unsure what I want to do, I know that these 2 weeks work experience has opened my eyes to jobs and opportunities I had never thought of.

What’s next for you Jayden?

After finishing my GCSE’s, I definitely want to stay at school for sixth form before going to university for further studies.

“I would like to thank everyone I met at VIVO Defence Services for showing me around and taking the time to make my work experience so enjoyable. Special thanks to Paul Homer for arranging such an awesome 2 weeks.”

Massive thanks to VIVO Defence Services and Paul Homer for providing such a wonderful work experience for my son Jayden. He had an amazing time.
