Viviane Lissarre - 'a force to be reckoned with'.

Our fearless French firecracker, Viviane Lissarre , joined Heartwood Collection in May 2010 as a budding waitress, taking her first job in the UK with us throughout Brasserie Blanc’s?acquisition of Chez Gerard. Viv’s career story is truly inspiring to say the least, and her journey is one to admire, particular for those dreaming big!

Viviane spent a short period of time as a supervisor in the Brasserie in Charlotte Street, before progressing to Assistant Manager of our then flagship Brasserie Blanc, Opera Terrace, Covent Garden. It was there that she honed her skillset in managing an exceptionally high standard of high volume operations in a fast paced environment such as central London.

Viv is known for her infectious positivity, and elegant leadership through Heartwood, and has developed a number of past, present and future managers throughout a number of levels in the business, there is no doubt she is our queen of London, having been there, and built it from the bottom up, through the toughest of times she lead the way to success, whether it be in her own site, region or for the greater good of the estate.

Viv continued to progress into an exciting, and ambitious General Manager when she took the huge leap to embrace the beast that is Southbank Brassiere Blanc in May 2016. This was finally the platform for Viv to shine brighter than ever, and boy did she! Working under a number of our long serving seniors in their time as Operations Managers, such as Richard Ferrier, now Managing Director, and Chloe Smith, Senior Operations manager, It was here, that she started to be exposed to the world of running a business like it was her own. Viv really is one of a kind, and absolutely embraced the challenge, bring the site from the depths through to the highest heights, to remain a staple in setting the right example, and always striving for the best she, her team, and the site can be.

Following a number of record-breaking years?in Southbank, Viv moved her development towards cluster management in 2019, heavily supporting our now Operations Director Tom Palfreeman, with the running of the London Region. This also saw her become instrumental in the training and site openings of Hale Barns and Fulham Reach Brasserie Blanc.

Fast forward to January 2020, and our powerfully beautiful Madam Lissarre was officially appointed as Operations Manager of London, a role she was so very much born to do.

Since then, she has never looked back, continuing to deliver successful, business defining results, revolutionising the execution of the group's Christmas operation alongside her day job, and taking the lead of the reservation and events side of Heartwood Collection also – She is a force to be reckoned with!
