The developer understands that in order to achieve this result - it is necessary to go a long way. One of the tools that will allow the network to maintain the speed of thousands of transactions per second will be the Sharding solution. Ethereum has been working on it for several years.

 “Our Sharding solution allows us to separate different transactions into randomly selected groups of computers. In this case, the blockchain manages to process more operations than one computer can allow. The solution will increase the scalability by about 1000 times and even more, ”said the founder of Ethereum.
